In the wake of its successful fund-raising, totalling €5m since its creation, MiTrust, the leader in personal data sharing, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Jean-Gaston de Lassus as Managing Director. He joins Xavier Drilhon, Executive Chairman and co-founder of MiTrust.
Jean-Gaston (50), is a veteran of specialized retail financial services. After starting out as a consultant with McKinsey & Cie, he held a number of management and executive positions in the credit and insurance businesses, notably with Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance Group where he accompanied the transformation and digitization of the group for almost 20 years. In particular, he was COO of its German subsidiary, CreditPlus Bank AG, Head of Insurance and Brokerage Development for the Group, Head of Credit France, and then CEO of CACF in the Netherlands between 2015 and 2019. Since 2019, he has been running his own consulting firm, specializing in fintechs and sustainable finance. The father of a large family, Jean-Gaston is also a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, of Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées and a MSc of MIT.
